Sign Up For The Savannah State University Aquaponics Working Group Sessions Below:
Recently, Billy's Botanicals & Savannah Hydroponics & Organics partnered with Savannah State University as “farmer partners” to help them procure a sustainable agricultural grant focused on combating local urban food deserts. They obtained the grant & have been hard at work ever since!
We’ve been putting the first demonstration system together, and VERY soon the Aquaponics educational seminars will begin. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather the first session scheduled for March 21st had to be postponed until this coming Sunday April 11th.
If you’ve ever had an interest in learning more about aquaponics, becoming an aquaponics farmer, or are already an aquaponics farmer now’s your chance to participate.
We’ll be getting into the nitty gritty of aquaponics during these series of working group seminars beginning April 11th. We’re going to dive deep into topics such as system design, the
aquaponics cycle, beneficial aquatic bacteria, fish husbandry, and MUCH more....
Please follow the link below & self register if you would like to join us either in person or virtually for one of the upcoming (invite-only) working group seminars on Aquaponics at Savannah
State University’s Marine Science Center.
The registration is a google survey, please follow the link below to self register:
